The E Systems branded laptop isn't a great spec - celeron processor, 256mb RAM, 40gb HD - but it comes with a USB mouse, laptop bag, inkjet printer and cable. Basically this is everything you'll need to get started. Performance won't be very fast but it's a great deal if you just want something to surf the net at home and get the homework done on. All this for £299.99!

Mattel, Inc. announced today that the company has voluntarily recalled one toy from the "CARS" die-cast vehicle line ("Sarge" character), manufactured between May 2007 and July 2007, containing impermissible levels of lead. The recalled vehicles include 436,000 total toys, including 253,000 in the U.S. and 183,000 outside of the U.S.
