Wii Shortages Confirmed

The BBC has reported that Nintendo have confirmed they will struggle to meet demand for the Wii console this Christmas. The huge popularity of the console - about to be fueled with the release of Super Maio Galaxy - means some children will be disappointed this Christmas.

Check out out guide on how you can get hold of a Wii console...

Find Wii Consoles In Stock - Guaranteed

It looks like another nail-biting Xmas for parents because for the second year running, there seems to be a shortage of Nintendo Wii consoles. The Wii has been a massive hit for Nintendo - and a massive headache for parents trying to get them.

If you are determined to get one and the normal high street stores are you letting you down, you might need to bite the bullet and pay over the odds on eBay. With eBay, you are guaranteed to find stock but expect to pay more than the RRP as sellers seek to make a profit. If you do decide to do that, the prices are only going to go higher as Christmas approaches so the earlier you buy, the better. We've made a new page which lists all the Nintendo Wii consoles currently available on eBay - bookmark the page and keep an eye out for a bargain.

Wii Play Billiards - 4 Shot Clearance!

Wii Play is a must-buy for any Wii owner. It comes with loads of micro games, like duck shooting (reminiscent of the NES classic), air hockey, table tennis and my personal favourite, Billiards. Because they are great multi player games, you get a Wii controller with the game.

Check out the video below where I got an insane break off in Wii Play Billiards, sinking 7 balls in one shot, including the cue ball unfortunately. This allowed me to get a 4 shot clearance and achieve my personal best score of 66. Would love to have done it without the foul, so I'll keep trying for that.

Nintendo Wii Controller Battery Charger

If you have a Nintendo Wii, firstly consider yourself lucky because for a second Christmas running, stocks of the revolutionary console are low. Secondly, think about how much you are spending on batteries for wii-mote controllers, and wonder if there's a better way. Thankfully there is.

The Remote Charging Stand is a neat add on for the Wii Console. It replaces the existing vertical stand that came with your Wii and has a nice new section where you can stand two Wii controllers. Whilst plugged in, it will be busy recharging the 3 AAA rechargeable batteries housed in the new battery section which plugs into where you previously put two AA batteries.

As well as that, the stand has a compartment where you can seperately charge two rechargeable AA batteries, for general use in other remote controls etc. A useful, attractive addition to your Wii setup that will save you money over time.

The Wii Remote Charging Stand costs £14.98 from Amazon.co.uk
